Welcome! I am Shuo.

I am a Postdoctoral Associate at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University, and I completed my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics at UC Berkeley.

My research focuses on conservation practices and agricultural policy, with a particular interest in their roles in promoting environmental sustainability and supporting climate change adaptation and mitigation. I work on the evaluation of U.S. conservation and crop insurance programs, on the design of incentives for soil health practices in partnership with lenders and environmental organizations, and on randomized field experiments with smallholder farmers in India. My work combines applied econometrics, empirical industrial organization, and field experimental methods with high-resolution data derived from remote sensing and machine learning.
